Zac Posen, a young New York native, has earned his place as one of fashion’s great designers. Posen, having an artistic background -his father was a painter- attended several schools where he polished his talent for fashion design. His talent was soon recognized by the industry, which was further proven by his successes; a finalist for the ENKA International Fashion Design Award in 2002, a nominee for the CFDA award for new talent in both 2002 and 2003, and winner of the Perry Ellis Award in 2004.
